The medical center maintains the equipment, including computerized monitoring, and experienced surgical staff to assist our highly skilled surgeons in the following specialties: general surgery, gynecology, urology, orthopaedic.
Pampa Regional Medical center is proud of the hospital’s state-of-the-art Catheterization laboratory. This imaging equipment is used to visualize the arteries as well as the chambers of the heart and to treat any stenosis or abnormality found.

Established originally in 1950 by Gray County as Highland General, the hospital became part of Prime Healthcare in 2012 as Pampa Regional Medical Center. PRMC is non-profit, critical access facility serving our community with a full range of surgical and medical services.

Pampa Regional Medical Center is a 25-bed, not for profit, critical access hospital, and a member of the Prime Healthcare Foundation, a 501(c)3 public charity. PRMC serves a population of approximately 65,000 residents in the Texas Panhandle. Founded in 1950, Pampa Regional employs more than 275 full-time and part-time staff members. Pampa Regional is accredited by The Joint Commission and The Accreditation Commission for Health Care.
In partnership with more than 30 area physicians, the hospital provides a full range of medical services to meet the healthcare needs of the community it proudly serves, including surgical services, primary care, urgent care, orthopedics, paint management, interventional cardiology, emergency services, women’s health, extended care, rehabilitation services, wound care, allergy testing and treatment and occupational health services.
